Vernasca Silver Flag 2025: from 13 to 15 June in the name of Champions

The twenty-ninth edition of the “Vernasca Silver Flag” finally has a date: to be set on the calendar the weekend from 13 to 15 June 2025 when the dynamic restoration and conservation competition for historic racing cars will bring vehicles and crews from all over the world back to the curves of the Val d’Arda.

After two moves, which occurred for other concurrent motoring events, the CPAE has circled the third weekend of June in red, also defining what will be the theme of the 2025 edition. The title “World Champions!” is quite evocative, especially when placed in the motoring context.

In fact, 2025 will mark the fiftieth anniversary of a truly special year for Italian engines: Ferrari won the F1 World Championship with Lauda and the 312 B, Alfa Romeo conquered the World Championship for Makes with the 33 TT12s, Lancia completed the hat-trick of World Championships by winning the World Rally Championship with the Stratos and, just to not leave even crumbs to its opponents, Fiat with the 124 Abarth completed the poker by winning the European Rally Championship.
