Daimler 6 Sovereign 4.2 - the style icon and special Jaguar saloon.
The early Jaguar XJ 6 versions are rightly regarded as the most beautiful saloons in the world. Discreet, sporty, luxurious and yet not overdone, these big cats, designed by company founder William Lyons, always look timelessly beautiful. In 1973, the 2nd series of this design of the century came onto the market in a slightly modified form. In autumn 1974, these saloons were only available with a long wheelbase and larger rear doors for more comfortable rear access. The noblest, rarest and most expensive variant of these beautiful Jaguar saloons was the Daimler 6 Sovereign 4.2.
This rare Daimler 6-cylinder saloon was first registered in 1977. Probably not even 1,000 Daimler 6-cylinder left-hand drive saloons were produced and most of them no longer exist. The interior with its individual seats in the rear has been renewed and the damage to the mechanics has been repaired. Naturally, the sporty luxury liner was given a new German TÜV and H licence plate approval before delivery.
