Mercedes-Benz 230 SL 1966

This car was completely restored by us according to the customer's wishes.
The starting point was a completely rust-free vehicle. The vehicle was disassembled, the bodywork was stripped and checked for any damage. No accident damage was found, only some minor dents. The boot floor was replaced. The original welding points are still visible on the entire body.
The body was KTL primed in Mannheim and can be seen in a report about the procedure in the photo in Motor Classic.
The colour combination was determined at the customer's request, with the exterior paint being an original Mercedes-Benz colour.
The seats were not only reupholstered but also rebuilt with horsehair filling.
All technical aggregates were completely disassembled and completed with new wear parts.
The rear axle ratio was lengthened and the speedometer was adjusted accordingly.
All instruments as well as the heating system with operating parts were reworked or renewed.
After painting, new insulation mats were glued in and the vehicle was completed with new lines, hoses, seals, windows and newly reworked chrome.
