The Mercedes SL W 113 series, also known as the “Pagoda” because of the shape of its hardtop, replaced two previous SL models. Equipped with six cylinders, the Pagoda was in the middle of the outgoing 190 SL and the very sporty 300 SL in terms of performance. The new roadsters offered dignified and confident dynamics in a timelessly elegant and sporty look, paired with more comfort. A classic car, sporty, solid and back then mostly equipped with power steering and brake booster. This Mercedes 280 SL Pagoda, with its 170 hp, is the final expansion stage of the series and was designed by the factory to be even more comfortable. Delivered in 1969 with an additional automatic transmission, the convertible offers dignified and confident open-air enjoyment. A high-quality classic car in a beautiful color combination that you can get in and enjoy straight away.
