EExceptionally good T3 California / dream condition, 1.9l turbo-diesel
The car is rust-free and was extensively revised in 2018. The base was so good that nothing was welded. To be on the safe side, all cavities were treated with Fertan rust converter and, after 6 months, additionally with Mike Sanders. Nothing rusts anymore !!
In 2018, about 1,500 km ago, a newly built VW-AAZ 1.9l turbodiesel was installed with a newly built, long-geared 5-speed gearbox. The whole transmission is long, not just the 5th gear. Not to mention little things like a new cooler, turbo etc. etc. The driving experience is a dream. Everything harmonizes perfectly and improves driving many times over. Cruise control and the original central locking also make comfortable travel possible. The folding roof has been re-covered and the interior is in the same condition as an annual car. Of course, everything works, including the auxiliary heating and refrigerator. Paulchen bike rack is included and the T3 has a trailer coupling, awning, gas tank and much more. Of course, the table and toilet box are also included.
H mark and new TüV June 2020 made. One of the very few really good ones that are still available.
For explanation:
The originally installed engine has a displacement of approx. 1.6 l and is called JX. The direct successor is the AAZ and has a displacement of 1.9 liters. The noticeably more powerful engine only has between 5 and 10 hp more, but the higher torque is noticeable in German. But the best of all is that the difference is almost invisible from the outside. This also allows the use of a longer transmission in all gears, which significantly reduces the speed and, above all, the noise level. I preferred to drive the car around 100 km / h, actually never faster. Because of this, I can't answer questions about the top speed either.
