Alvis Speed 25 1937
Voiture historique à vendre

Concessionnaire (FR)

Supplied new to the Tate & Lyle sugar empire by the agent Charles Follett. Subsequently purchased by a Mr. Heatlie in 1952, who took the car to Rhodesia then selling it in 1975 to a Mr. Knott who, as records show, still had the car in 2006, according to the Alvis Archive information.
Alvis records note the car was fitted with a replacement engine in 1958. In 2010 extensive mechanical attention was undertaken to include work to the gearbox, electrical work including indicators, a carburettor clean, new tyres and tubes and some exhaust work.
Service items purchased and fitted by the current owner in 2019.
Original coachwork carrying a lovely patina. Not so many saloons survived due to high restoration costs and conversion into open tourers.
The car has its original brown leather interior, now nicely mellowed and patinated.
A very original and solid, unrestored car. Comes with an extensive history file and handbook.
Currently located in the island of Guernsey. Additional pictures can be sent on request.
