On behalf of a customer we are selling an Austin Healey Sprite MK I 'FROGEYE'
The Austin Healey Sprite was built in 4 model series from 1958 to 1970. The first series is the Austin Healey Sprite MK I, which went into production from 1958-1960. In 1958 the British Motor Corporation presented the first SPRITE. The small roadster was designed by Donald Mitchell Healey.
In Europe, this MK I series vehicle was given the nickname Frogeye due to the special arrangement of the headlights.
Although this small and light sports car only had a low engine output of 48 hp, the Austin Healey Sprite still offered exceptional driving performance at the time thanks to its low weight and light chassis.
The vehicle we offer was transferred from the USA (California) to Germany in 2001. The Austin Healey has been owned by our customer since 2004.
