Im Rahmen der IAA in Frankfurt stellte BMW 1985 den ersten M3, basierend auf der Baureihe E30 der Weltöffentlichkeit vor. Das Modell sollte nicht nur die Produktpalette der M-GmbH nach unten abrunden, sondern in erster Linie der Homologation zur Deutschen Tourenwagen Meisterschaft DTM dienen. Dabei unterschätzte BMW die Nachfrage gewaltig. Aus den geplanten und für die Homologation ausreichenden 500 Stück wurden am Ende mehr als 18.500 Stück. Mit der Vorstellung des E30 M3 legte BMW den Grundstein zum erfolgreichsten Tourenwagen aller Zeiten und wir freuen uns ihnen ein Teil dieser Geschichte anbieten zu dürfen.
1988 wurde das Fahrzeug vom jetzigen Eigentümer gekauft und befindet sich seitdem in seinem Besitz. Das Fahrzeug ist in einem perfekten rostfreien Zustand, Wertgutachten und H-Kennzeichen liegen selbstverständlich vor.
Erwähnenswert ist, dass der Motor bei 75.000 Km, also vor etwa 15.000 Km komplett überholt wurde. Zudem wurde das Fahrzeug in vielen Details aufgewertet, wie zum Beispiel einem verbesserten Fahrwerk (historisch authentisch) und einer Edelstahlauspuffanlage.

 At the IAA in Frankfurt, September 1985, BMW presented the first M3, based on the E30 series, to the world public. The model was not only intended to round off M-GmbH's product range, but also primarily serve as homologation for the German Touring Car Championship DTM. BMW vastly underestimated the demand. The planned 500 units, which were sufficient for homologation, ended up being more than 18,500 units. With the introduction of the E30 M3, BMW laid the foundation for the most successful touring car of all time and we are pleased to be able to offer you a part of this history.
The vehicle was purchased by the current owner in 1988 and has been in his possession ever since. The vehicle is in perfect rust-free condition, and of course the appraisal report and H license plate are available.
It is worth mentioning that the engine was completely overhauled at 75,000 km, i.e. around 15,000 km ago. The vehicle has also been upgraded in many details, such as an improved chassis (historically authentic) and a stainless steel exhaust system.
