The Jaguar XK120 was manufactured by Jaguar between 1948 and 1954 and was Jaguar's first post-war sports car, succeeding the SS 100 which was discontinued in 1940.
Jaguar's impressive XK120 was an enormously important car for both the brand and postwar Britain. Following its introduction, the XK120 was the fastest car in the world and arguably the most beautiful. It was capable of reaching a cruising speed of 120 miles per hour (193.12km / h).
