The Jaguar XK 120 Autenrieth Cabrio is more than just a historic vehicle: it is a unique piece of German-British automotive history. But 'unique' is not an empty term: such a car exists and has only existed once.
After the war, the car body company Autenrieth from Darmstadt concentrated mainly on the conversion of BMW vehicles. Nevertheless, the company was happy to accept the assignment from the Frankfurt lawyer and manufacturer Wilhelm Eckerlin - after all, it concerned the expansion of a vehicle that was already very special at the time. The Jaguar Two highly specialized professionals built the car. The XK120 therefore became one of the most expensive cars of that time
In the years and decades that followed, the XK 120 Autenrieth Cabrio had a number of very different owners, a lot of attention and almost complete neglect.
The XK120 Autenrieth now shown here is still in beautiful condition after two restorations. During the last restoration the original engine was placed in the chassis again. So this is a very special Jaguar XK 120 of which only one exists. So for the absolute Jaguar enthusiast, this is a Must Have!
