In the mid-1920s, Lagonda returned to the construction of competition vehicles with the Model 14/60. The 2 Litre Speed with higher compression and two carburettors was developed for the 1927 season.
The vehicle presented here was initially delivered with a saloon body in 1927. In 1948, the vehicle was given the current Tourer body, which was fully restored in 1995 under the direction of renowned specialist David Ayre and the car was prepared for use in long-distance rallies with 4.5 litre technology. The car successfully took part in the Peking to Paris Rally, Flying Scotsman, Mille Miglia, Singapore Mandalay and Dar es Salaam Cape Town, among others. In 2010, the engine and other technical areas were completely overhauled once again. A comprehensive valuation report by a renowned expert and FIVA Identity Card are available.
