Maserati Quattroporte 4200 1965

First owner Enrico Wax was importer for Connolly leather to Italy. He had some special Ferrari and Maserati made, among these is 107.504. Ordered on May 6 1965, delivered June 7 1965, a very short period of time, considering the long list Dr. Wax wanted to have individualised.
Instead of the usual Connolly CP, Dr. Wax ordered the Vaumol quality, the paintwork had to be special too. But the most exciting extra is the engine: 4,7 litres with Lucas injection! Instead Magneti Marelli most electric components were by Bosch. And further: Power steering, automatic gearbox, 100 l tank, double Carello headlights, chrome-plated bezels, specially styled dashboard top, foot rest for passenger, special radio system with 4 speakers (Blaupunkt), record changer instead of A/C, wheels with red Maserati logo (as sign for Injection). Exhaust with 2 outputs (60 mm).
In May 1966, Dr. Wax had the injection replaced at the factory with the regular carbs. He then also had the gearbox changed to the ZF S 5-17-2. five speed box. In April 1967, at the request of Dr. Wax, the record changer was replaced by the factory by an A/C.
From 2012, car was thouroughly and carefully restored by new owner H.H. (member of the technical committee Maserati Club Holland) in the Netherlands.
