MG TF 1954

Being the last of the immortal ‘T’ Series, the TF has always had a special appeal to MG enthusiasts the world over.  Produced between 1953 - 1955, some 9,600 of the model were built, with the bulk of production being exported, as with its predecessor, the TD.
This extremely smart example dates from 1954 and was imported some years ago and underwent a major restoration from the bare chassis.
Whilst in the previous owner’s hands, regular careful maintenance was carried out and a five speed gearbox was installed. 
The weather equipment is in very good order and fits well and a full tonneau cover is included. The red interior trim is excellent and the car drives particularly well, with the fifth gear proving a great advantage when longer journeys are undertaken.
There is an album of photos showing stages of the restoration, together with the original Driver’s Handbook, ‘Super Profile’ publication and a Workshop Manual.
With Summer hopefully not too far away, this delightful MG is sure to provide highly enjoyable motoring with the opportunity to participate in a variety of MG events.
