Concessionario (GB)

In the 1930s AC produced a fine range of motor cars of high quality which attracted motorists seeking well-appointed cars with sporting character and a reputation for exclusivity.  They were based in Thames Ditton, Surrey and competed with the likes of Alvis for quality.   This rare 16/70 drophead coupe has an excellent and fascinating history and has just benefited from an engine rebuild and recommissioning by a well-regarded specialist.     During the last 16 years of continuous ownership she has been maintained by Rowland Rodgers and the car has enjoyed a number of continental journeys.     Ownership records indicate that the total mileage of the car, covered to date is around 37,000 miles and she spent a number of years in California.     In 1957 she was resprayed from ‘National Grey’ with green trim to ‘Ivory’.  She has benefited from new hide front and rear seats with original door cards and replacement carpets.       Full details & a video will be updated shortly (this is a temporary video from today - our first day in weeks without rain - but in the garage while Storm Kathleen does her best to blow us away)!
