BMW 1600 Convertible 1970

In 1966 the BMW 1600-2 was presented at the Geneva Motor Show. It was the more compact, 2-door addition to the existing “New Class” from BMW and was even more agile and sporty thanks to its shortened external dimensions and weight savings. The elegant four-seater BMW cabriolet with a fully retractable roof followed in 1968, but only 1,892 examples were produced for BMW at Baur in Stuttgart until 1971.
This beautiful BMW 1600-2 convertible was first registered in Germany in 1970. The open classic car has been in the last collector's hands since 1994 and has always been maintained and refined. The agile convertible offers enough space for 4 people with extensive luggage, is solid and shines with good driving characteristics.
