The Ferrari 250 GT Coupé represented a series of grand road touring cars produced by Ferrari between 1954 and 1960. Presented at the 1954 Paris Motor Show, the 250 Europa GT was the first in the GT line. Pinin Farina's design was seen as a more civilized version of their sporty Berlinetta 250 MM. Series-built cars were a response to the demand from a wealthy customer base for a sporty and luxurious Ferrari Gran Turismo, which is also easier to use on a daily basis.
Common to all 250 GT cars was the 3.0-litre Colombo V12 engine and the fact that they were all two-seaters.
The Europa GT was soon followed by the Pinin Farina-designed 250 GT Coupé. As the production capabilities of the Carrozzeria Pinin Farina were expanded at that time, the cars were initially built at the Carrozzeria Boano and then at the Carrozzeria Ellena. After body production was transferred to Pinin Farina, Ferrari was able to produce the Coupé in greater numbers than before. This series of models marked the transition of the production process from handmade to semi-series production.
This Ferrari presented here has been completely restored and previously belonged to Jamiroquai, or Jay Kay, the English pop singer. There is also a “Ferrari Classiche” document which emphasizes the originality of the car. Furthermore, the color of the car is Grigio with a beige leather interior. This Ferrari is in new condition and drives accordingly. A beautiful Ferrari with future prospects.
