Porsche 911 2.4 T 1971

During the further development of what is probably the best-known sports car, a number of requirements had to be met. To make the engine oil cooling system even more efficient, Porsche engineers moved the oil filler neck to the outside in the 1972 model year. This was not without its problems due to the risk of confusion with the fuel filler flap. As a result, the oil filler flap disappeared again for the 1973 model year. Our 911 Coupé (model year 1972) is one of these rare oil flap models. Delivered to the USA, the classic car has been in one hand since its return to Germany. The 2.4 litre engine with 140 hp has the sought-after mechanical intake manifold injection. According to the available certificate from Porsche AG, the 911 has “matching numbers”. The paintwork in “Sepia brown” also corresponds to the delivery status. The on-board documents are present. The car was extensively restored by a renowned Hamburg Porsche specialist workshop.
