With the so-called “New Class”, BMW achieved a great success from September 1961. It was like a new start to commercial success. The BMW models 1500 to 2000 saloon were sportier, easier to handle and more graceful than the established Mercedes models. Although not quite as perfect, the market niche they occupied was quite large. In June 1965, the 2000 C/CS coupé was presented, built by Karmann in Osnabrück. Not everyone liked the lines at the time, and the coupé was quickly dubbed the “gook”. Today, really good coupés of this type are rare and sought after. Only 2,837 BMW 200 Cs were built. Our BMW 2000 C Coupé is equipped with a ZF automatic transmission. The existing BMW certificate shows that the classic car was delivered by the Müller dealership in Düsseldorf. It has been in current ownership since 2016. The low mileage of 53,000 km seems likely due to the existing MOT reports. This BMW 2000 Coupé is remarkable because of its traceable history with the best substance and full equipment. EXTRAS: 4 power windows, automatic antenna, car radio, 2 Talbot exterior mirrors, headrests, safety belts, steel sliding roof
