The Coppa delle Alpi wants to combine the spirit of competition, in an already challenging climate context, with the charm of a unique and spectacular route, connecting the Alpine communities involved.

The goal is to support and protect the green lung of Europe, keeping intact the elegance and passion of the 1000 Miglia.

The thrill of competition returns to animate the Coppa delle Alpi, a winter regularity race organized by 1000 Miglia that with its 900 kilometers between the Alpine passes, from 12 to 16 March 2025 will officially inaugurate the Italian Grandi Eventi Championship. Not that the excitement of the race has ever been lacking, but, after the unique 2024 edition, dedicated to the ambitious project of Il Grande Viaggio Alpino in support of the communities of the macro-region of the same name, the sporting part will once again be the beating heart of the event, together with the discovery of a territory that is as fascinating as it is challenging to cross, due to the harsh climate and a conformation that can be impervious.

The Coppa delle Alpi embodies the bold, free and gritty spirit of the Freccia Rossa, a true 1000 Miglia Style challenge. Hence the choice to start from Brescia, the City of the 1000 Miglia, which in the early afternoon of Wednesday 12 March will host the technical and sporting checks in the streets of the center. Following this, the very first edition of the Trofeo Città di Brescia will be held, an exciting 1 vs 1 knockout challenge that will liven up the city center.

Awaiting the crews will be 80 Time Trials and 6 Average Trials along a route that will wind through 11 Alpine passes and that will cross the borders of Switzerland, Austria and Italy in 3 stages. After the start in Brescia, St. Moritz and Bressanone will host the stage arrivals, while the final finish line will await the crews on the Tonale Pass.

Before the awards ceremony, which will take place at high altitude in the splendid setting of the Presena Glacier, there will also be space for a fun snow driving experience inside the Pista Ghiaccio Val di Sole, with trials valid for the assignment of the Ponte di Legno Trophy.

Up for grabs for the winners of the Coppa delle Alpi 2025 there will be 7 Admission Guarantees for the 1000 Miglia 2026.
