William Lyons founded the S.S. (Swallow Sidecars) brand in 1931. After the war, the brand name was changed to “Jaguar”. During this period, technical work began on pre-war designs. There were the 1½ Litre, 2½ Litre and 3½ Litre limousines, further developed in detail, which were later called Mark IV. They were picture-perfect, extremely elegant creations. The six-cylinder engine with 3½ litre displacement had enormous power for the time. Our Jaguar Mark IV 3.5 limousine is from the first post-war year 1946 and has a Jaguar Certificate. The car was exported by Tozer & Millbourne in Kemsley, presumably to Australia. The classic car has been registered in Germany since 2003, after having been extensively restored. Corresponding documents are available. This Jaguar Mark IV limousine with its charming lines is an endearing classic that can be used in a variety of ways.
