CAR MUSEUM, TURIN
Named after Carlo Biscaretti di Ruffia until 2011 and now after Giovanni Agnelli, the National Automobile Museum (or Mauto 2.0) is the largest and most important of its kind in Italy, with a museum collection which in terms of completeness and rarity has few rivals in Europe. Radically renovated in 2011, from June 2016 with a new external look designed by Cino Zucchi, it was rearranged in thirty rooms according to multimedia contextualization criteria by the French-Swiss set designer François Confino; exhibits 160 cars that offer an authentic journey through the history of cars and automotive design Made in Italy and beyond. Furthermore, spaces for temporary exhibitions and seminars, as well as one of the most well-stocked and complete bookshops in Italy dedicated to the topic of cars.
