This vehicle was delivered to the Porsche Center Fleischhauer in Bonn in May 1952 and was driven for several years by a member of the German Bundestag and his wife. This vehicle has a very interesting history, which is verifiable. 1952 was the most important year for the 356 models. In late April 1952, production was slowly switched from split windows to folding windows. Our vehicle is therefore also very interesting for collectors and Porsche enthusiasts because at this time a mix of available stock and renewals was still in use. This vehicle comes with an elaborate expert report and a Reutter certificate, as well as a Porsche certificate of authenticity. A very elaborate restoration was carried out over 2 years and great importance was attached to leaving the vehicle largely untouched in its condition and only replacing the parts that were defective. In addition, the color combination of the exterior and interior paint was left as per the Reutter certificate. The body was completely sandblasted, welded, repainted and painstakingly reassembled. Only 294 vehicles of the 356 pre A Cabriolet were delivered to Reutter, which were then subdivided again with the 1300 and 1500 cc engines.
