Soon, the new luxury tax will even apply to necessities like this. - Porsche 911 S Targa
The G-model Porsche 911 S 2.7 Targa. Quite a mouthful, but it deserves every word in the epithet! The character of the iconic F-model is still fully visible in the G, However, Ferdinand had made quite a mess under the skin! The 2.4 was swapped for a 2.7-litre unblown, air-cooled flat-six. Obviously more Stuttgart horses in the back, but consumption was also drastically improved. Whereas with the older 2.4 you had to be satisfied with 25-30 litres per 100 kilometres, with the G it was almost halved!
Whereas the F still had US and EU versions with different bumpers, the G introduced the 'harmonica bumper'. For US approval, you had to be able to 'bump' into something at converted 8 kilometres per hour, without damage. We advise against trying it, but who are we....
This one was fully restored by Lusso Classics in Hilversum three years ago. She is fully matching, both -numbers and -colours. Original small-body in triple black. Of course fully documented and tadelessly maintained. Now looking for her new Hank Moody. Will we see you soon?
