This BMW 3.0 CS is quite an early Three-liter Coupe: 2212063 was built on the 10th of December 1971 and delivered to BMW of the Netherlands - Alimpo N.V. in The Hague on the 23rd of December '71. Ordered in this color, 060 Polaris silver and first registered on the 16th of February 1972. Sold through BMW Dealer J.A. van Haaren in Vught to Mr. Kronenburg from Hedel. The original service book is present and shows all the servicing work through the car's early years.
Oldenzaal Classics has bought this E9 a couple of years before. At the time we had the car repainted in it's original shade of Polaris Silver. The interior was reupholstered and the engine was removed to be rebuilt. The car's body is beautiful. The paint was done excellent and ofcourse with all trim taken off.  A nice and solid body with proper shutlines and the correct fold in the sides. The doors, fenders and trunk nicely fit and line-up. The engine-bay is solid and correct. On and around the body it shows nice chrome accents. The chrome-trim around the car presents nice as well as the trim around the windows. Nice and clear headlights in deep-black grilles. The tailights are in very good condition. 
The engine-bay of this Coupe looks beautiful and correct. It houses the matching numbers 3.0 Liter Inline six which has been rebuilt. We’ve properly set up the carburators, set up the ignition and now it (cold)starts, idles and runs excellent. The engine received a major-service from us. A further summary of the work performed below. The power is sent to the rear wheels through the 4-speed manual transmission. It sits on good and fresh suspension and a new set of 16 wheels with new tyres.
The interior was restored very thoroughly and beautifully. The seats and rear seat have been reupholstered beautifully in black leather. The front and rear doorpanels we're reupholstered too. It received a new set of carpets in black. The headliner is the original from 1971 and present beautifully. Still clean, crisp and white. A brand new set of automatic seatbelts was installed for safety and driving comfort. The car has been fitted with a Retrosound radio with modern speakers nicely hidden.
The trunk has been reupholstered as well. The wooden panels have been reupholstered in grey vinyl. The covers over the wheel-housings are brand new. The set of tools is present as well as the sparewheel, jack and tool.
The car drives beautiful and is very easy to drive. The engine runs excellent and sounds great. The 4-speed shifts easily, it corners great and brakes straight.
