The Birmingham Small Arms Company (BSA) was a British manufacturer of vehicles, firearms and military equipment; the license for the use of the brand in the latter sectors was taken over by Gamo, while vehicle production ended in 1973. At the height of production, BSA was the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles. A decline in sales and poor investment in the two-wheeler division, which included Triumph Motorcycles, led to serious problems for the entire group.
