The Willys MB jeep, also made as the virtually identical Ford GPW, is a small, general-purpose four-wheel drive all-terrain vehicle, used by the Allies in World War II, produced in large numbers by the United States from 1941 through 1945. The Willys (and Ford) jeeps were considered by many Americans, including General, and later President Eisenhower, General George Marshall, and Pulitzer Prize winning war journalist Ernie Pyle, as one of the key means by which World War II was won. The small Jeep acquired a certain iconic status due to its good construction and performance, great availability, and positive media. This Jeep that we present is a Willys Jeep and dates from 1944. It has been restored and looks very good. This Jeep drives, steers and shifts perfectly. Under the hood we see an almost new engine that runs nicely. A beautiful Jeep for the enthusiast.
